Panther Creek Trail West is envisioned as a safe and inspiring hike-and-bike corridor that strengthens connections between neighborhoods, parks, and regional destinations throughout Frisco. The trail follows the Panther Creek corridor, using a context-sensitive approach that responds to the site’s topography, hydrology, and riparian ecology. Design strategies prioritize the protection of natural systems by preserving mature tree canopy, stabilizing creek edges, and minimizing impacts to sensitive habitat areas. Careful alignment and grading ensure the trail integrates seamlessly with the surrounding landscape while maintaining long-term durability and resilience.

A collaborative team of landscape architects, engineers, hydrologists, and environmental specialists guides the project from concept through preliminary design and engineering, ensuring the trail meets both TxDOT and City of Frisco standards. Materials, wayfinding, and placemaking elements align with the Frisco Trail Identity Guidelines, creating a cohesive user experience that reinforces the city’s growing trail network while supporting daily recreation and regional connectivity..
